Do you know when the result will be out? & will there be a interview afterwards?

Was the time of 2 hours sufficient to attempt all questions? Was there any hardware or software glitch?

If possible can you please tell the questions asked from your memory.

      Thanks a lot.

  7. 3-4 questions in first paper are incorrect/incomplete and few questions had printing/display problem, at all places something like A power b was displayed as Ab.

for example in one question bandwidth was mentioned 107bps which should be actually 10power7 .

can you guys tell me how to tell rpsc about these issues. i forgot to mentioned this in the feedback form at the time on exam.

    1. Hi anonymous999,
You can send a feedback through rpsc site. OR you can send a letter through post office to tell them about the problem questions etc.

Was the paper easy enough to score 40 marks (in both the papers individually)?
Was the time of 2 hours sufficient?
Can you please suggest some books to cover the syllabus for networking and RDBMS.
Any good book to cover whole syllabus with multiple choice questions etc.

      Your reply is awaited.

    1. Hi Anonymous,
I do not know which books are good that's why want to know from others. But I am going through Andrew Tanenbaum for networking and CJ Date for RDBMS as mentioned above.
Some people think paper was easy, for others it was difficult, as the exam date is not declared yet it becomes difficult to concentrate.
Please share your list of books.
      Thanks

    1. Hello Anonymous,

Please don't get impatient. ACP exam will be conducted in June or July hopefully, but exam date subject to change. As of now RPSC is quite busy in other exams too(RAS, RTS, Judicial services exam etc...).

Around 3100 candidates allowed to attend the exam, and around 1000 will be allowed for ACP exam.

Any more queries?, I'm happy to help.

    2. Thanks for your response.
Are you sure about the figure 1000 for ACP? I think it is on the lower side.
Is it true that seats have now increased to 66 from the previous 49?
Please let us know if you hear anything about ACP exam.

      Delete
    3. The number of eligible candidates for the ACP exam may be lower than that as well, but not more than 1000.

What I think is, that there is no such information has been shared by RPSC so far. If you come across such a note at RPSC website, please do share with us!

      Thanks!

  27. could you please tell me the meaning of
    :

“ Minimum qualifying marks :- Candidates who obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the aggreagate for the writtien examination/speed test shall be considered to have obtained qualifying marks at the written examination/speed test, as the case may be, but the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination/speed test for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, shall be 36%. The Commission/Appointing Authority may in their/its discretion award grace marks upto one in each paper and upto three in the aggregate.

So different paper have the 40% cut of or aggregate is having the 40% Marks.
And what the meaning of "The Commission/Appointing Authority may in their/its discretion award grace marks upto one in each paper and upto three in the aggregate."

    I am confused???

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Do not be confused, if you score a total of 40% i.e. 80 marks out of 200 (combined together in both the papers) then you have obtained the minimum qualifying marks.

If however you obtain less than 80 say 77,78 or 79 marks then the commission may give you 3,2 and 1 marks respectively so that you reach the figure of 80. However it is upto the commission to award these grace marks, they may or may not give these marks.

  48. 18000 for 2 years is too less, even class III officers earn much more than this so what is the point in providing a class I officer this amount when in private sector the same person can earn many times more than this amount. This is ridiculous.
How will a man provide for his family in this meager amount in the times of high inflation?

u will get an annual increment of 750 rs in an year which is about 3% of your basic if you have basic salary of 25000.

No annual bulk appraisal, moreover there is always risk of dismissal if some thing wrong happens by you, or by people working under you.

    ReplyDelete
  55. would like to add another points...

1).Not sure when final result will be declared may be it will take another 1-2 years, as this is happening normally in Raj State Govt Jobs.

2).After 2 years person will get 40K for the post of ACP,it's not possible to survive even in small town if he is having family because of living expenses aur "Mehangaaaye."

3).There is hardly increment of 4-5% salary every year.

4).Nothing is clear what is working protocol in terms of timing and work Load, may be it is again 12 hours job with 40k Salary for the rest of the life.

5).No Clarity of promotion may happen may not happen.

6).who make sure that they are going to continue the person who joined as ACP after completion of 2 yeras of probation period.. because this is totally Govt thing and there are possibilities of Court Rit , Court case etc.

Better to work hard in current profile with Private sector and get what we deserve.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Thanks all for your comments.. so do you mean its not worthwhile to leave a job of 50K(private) if get selected for this post? Does this job has anything positive..? I too heard that even the timings are not fixed in this job.. and if they appoint you in RajCom then u have work in same way as you are working in IT field.. pls throw some more light on this.. thanks
