10 Degree Channel

Ten (10) Degree Channel:  Ten Degree Channel is a channel that separates the Andaman Islands or Little Andaman from the Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal, India. The Channel is approximately 150 km wide, running essentially along an east-west orientation.
Why 10 Degree Channel: This channel is called Ten degree channel as it lies on the 10 Degree line of latitude/ अक्षांश, north of the equator and 92.5 degree Longitude.
