REET 2017 Exam Notification was issued in Rajasthan Patrika & Dainik Bhaskar Newspaper. REET 2017 Online Form is going to start from date 6th November 2017 to 30 November 2017 till 12:00 PM. Candidates have to Apply ONLINE after generating the Challan or paying exam fee in banks from date 6th November to 27th November 2017.  Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2017 will be held for Level-1 and Level-2.

The move came after a series of representations highlighted that RTET exam was coinciding with national level exams like NET and SSB exam. Sources said RBSE was aware that the RTET date was clashing with other exams and the decision was taken to seek new government view on RTET. This exam has faced the ire of designated chief minister Vasundhara Raje. During several election rallies, she has criticized the exam pattern and advocated changes. RBSE also clarified saying that a new date has not been announced as they are unable to find an empty Sunday to conduct this exam. It is likely that the exam may be conducted after board exams or after May.

Rajasthan High Court stays RTET Exam

Rajasthan High Court on Friday restrained the state government from conducting the recently-introduced Rajasthan Teachers’ Eligibility Test (RTET) until the next order terming it as unwarranted. It has served notice to the advocate general asking him to apprise the court of the rationale behind conducting the RTET. The court serving the notices to the state government, National Council for Teachers’ Education (NCTE) and Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has stayed the examination. The court, however, clarified that the state government could continue with the recruitment of teachers under the existing provisions. The RTET was scheduled to be held on May 22.
Justice Gopal Krishna Vyas issued the directive on a petition filed by Gayatri Joshi and 50 others. The court also asked the Advocate General to file a reply in the matter. In the petition it was stated that in August 2010, a notification was issued in accordance with the guidelines of National Council of Teachers Education which called for an eligibility test before recruiting teachers in Rajasthan. Accordingly, the candidates who have BCom and BEd degrees became ineligible to appear in the test.

Rajasthan TET Exam 2011 Date, Pattern, Paper, Syllabus

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will conduct the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) on May 22 this year and candidates will be able to register for the examination online till April 18. Announcing the schedule of TET, chairman of the board Subhash Garg said that they will start the preparation from March 31 and try to announce the result on June 15. “This is the first TET examination conducted in the state and the board will launch another website on TET on March 27,” said Garg. The students will be able to get the syllabus of this examination from March 28 onwards.
