Behavioural Lab will be set up in Jaipur

A Behavioural Lab will be set up at Harish Chandra Mathur Rajasthan Institute of Public Administration (HCM-RIPA) in Jaipur. Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has given the financial approval of Rs 1.22 crore for this laboratory. This will be set up in Patel Bhawan at HCM-RIPA. This will be the first Behavioural Lab in the country to be built with state-of-the-art technology. IIM Udaipur will manage and run this lab which will be set up on 2665.04 square feet area. The Faculty of IIM will impart training on applied methods. Certificate courses of Ph.D level will be conducted here. Experts of international level will be involved in conducting experiments and workshops.

Human behaviour will be studied with the help of innovative technology including ultramodern software and hardware. All necessary rooms will be built in the ultramodern laboratory including Focus Group Room, PC Lab, Control Room for Measurement, Waiting Area and Office Space. Training programmes will be organised in various colleges and universities in the field of experiential studies through this laboratory along with imparting training to teachers and organising training programmes in the field of practical training.
